Start production/construction: Start productions and constructions by clicking on the hammer or cogwheel icon in the province bar or province administration. To switch buildings on or off click on the building icon in the province bar or province administration. Here you can also start production and constructions (in one or multiple provinces at a time), enable and disable buildings and set rally points (see chapter 5 "Warfare").ĭisabling/enabling buildings: It will often make sense to disable unused buildings to save their upkeep costs. PROVINCE ADMINISTRATIONThe main menu provides access to the province administration, which offers an overview over all your provinces, buildings and constructions. It is up to you to master the game and dominate your opponents. Many of the intricacies of gameplay and tactics will only be mentioned in passing, though. This manual will cover everything you need to know to succesfully participate in a round of Supremacy 1914. You can also join alliances, enter cooperative team matches, and set up rounds with various different settings and game modes. You can play multiple game rounds simultaneously to explore strategies and challenge different players.īy playing and winning games, you will gain awards and higher ranks to measure your progress against other players. However, keeping a close eye on what is happening on the map and managing the moment-to-moment interactions is key to victory. Unit commands and productions will be executed even when you are offline. Gameplay takes place on historical maps and is all about managing your economy, directing your armies to expand your territory, and forming coalitions with other players in order to fulfil the victory condition of the match. Supremacy 1914 is played in single matches (or 'game rounds') which may take two to eight weeks to finish and pit up to 500 players against each other in real-time combat. You will take control of one nation and try to use diplomatic skill, military prowess and covert tactics in the struggle for dominance over the continent - or the whole world. In the examples you described, it is possible that the outcomes were affected by random chance (also known as "RNG," or "random number generator"), but it is also possible that the enemy units had some other advantage, such as better equipment or terrain bonuses.Īs for your question about the difference between attacking an enemy while they are disembarking and continuing to disembark: attacking an enemy while disembarking should delay the disembark action until the enemy stack is defeated, but it is still likely that your units will be at a disadvantage in combat due to the factors mentioned above.Supremacy 1914 is a grand strategy multi-player online game set in World War I. This can be due to a number of factors, such as the unit being disorganized or slowed down by the process of disembarking, or being more vulnerable to attack due to being in a confined space.Īs a result, it is generally not advisable to attack an enemy with units that are in the process of disembarking, unless you have a significant advantage in terms of numbers or morale. Units that are in the process of disembarking from a transport are typically at a disadvantage in combat compared to units that are already on land. If i am not mistaken attacking them should delay the disembark action until the enemy stack is dead. Is there any combat difference between attacking them and continue to disembark? I just want to make some sense of that because the range of possible rng is just meh. I know there is a penalty for embarked units and combat efficiancy for larger stacks but then again see example from Game 1. I land on enemies coast with a 46 stack of 83 morale - it happened during the night so i didnt catch the exact dmg ticks but from the newspaper i could redo the math to 2 infantry stacks one with 6 and one with 4 melted my stack within 2 combat ticks down to 27 - while in return only losing 3 and 2 units themselves. This happened again with 2 Infantry vs 10 or 11 (morale being again in my favor) and i still lost 2 troops there. The Ai is attacking me with 3 infantry with about 60 morale - i defend with 13 infantry and 80+ morale while they are disembarking. Its kind of a weird Question but if there is no real difference i may have had the worst rng possible i guess. Is there any difference in combat ability or unit strength if I command a unit stack which is currently Dis/embarking to attack an enemy?
